Digipack Layout Plan

In this task, I have provided my first update on my production process as I have drawn out my layout for my digipack, in detail so that I can begin to create my product on my photoshop. The colour scheme and font choices will be made after I have provided my target audience with samples to choose their favourite from.

Some of the conventions included on my digipack are;

• 6 square panels so that it would fold correctly into a digipack
• big bold titles of the album name and artist name that stand out
• large images of the artist/main protagonist so that each panel of the digipack is clearly linked
• a message to the fans/stay connected page to enhance audience engagement
• space for the disk to be enclosed in the digipack
• reference of the record label for legal purposes
• track list and lyric inclusion for audience enticement

This layout of my digipack will allow me to start creating my digipack on Photoshop, using ideas from my original layout as well as changing ideas based on what my target audience think. The colour scheme and font choices will be made by my target audience once I provide them with samples to choose from.
