This task is to show the lip sync performed by our main female protagonist in time and in tune with our chosen song Blue lights by Jorja Smith.

    The track you've used within this is extremely poor quality...having said that, this is a good practice run of lip synching.

Generic Conventions in music videos In this task, I was asked to choose a an artist of a specific genre and analyse two of their songs to see what conventions they include in their music videos, enabling me to judge which conventions they have used well and not well, and to give me a further idea of how to portray my own music video. In conclusion, in this task, I analysed two music videos from the same artist, Nicky Minaj within the pop genre, to see what conventions she uses, particularly within mise-en-scene, editing, camera, performance and narrative. From this task, I have learnt of different ways that I can engage more with an audience and the conventions I can use to do this such as camera angle and performance. Casting and Costumes In this task, I will provide an insight into the roles of the casting members in the music video, what they look like, why and who they are in the video. This is another production update to show my progress in the development of the creation of my music video.  This task shows my audience why characters are in the music video, who they play and their importance. This also helps audience understanding of characters and the role that they have to play. It also gives a brief description of who the main image on my ancillary tasks will be and why they will be on it.

Evaluation Question 2 Here is my second evaluation task about how effective the combination of main product, the music video, and my ancillary products, the digipack and album advert, were together, and how clearly they linked. I will analyse this by looking at the conventions of my products to see where they clearly link, especially when it comes to colour schemes, font choices and the showing of my main protagonist. (you will need to pause each slide to read information) In conclusion, I believe that the conventions I have chosen to use that link my products together are very effective, as the products are clearly linked through their vibrant colour schemes, similar fonts and continuous display of the main protagonist. The colour schemes are powerful and vibrant and represent the unique style or Indie music.
