Initial ideas for music video and Ancillary Drawings 

   

In this task I will provide my initial ideas for the conventions that can be included in my groups music video as well as the elements that we can include in our ancillary tasks such as the digipack and album advert. The process of my initial ideas is that of what conventions I could include that will link and appeal to my chosen target audience and whether they will follow or go against the3 typical conventions usually used in that particular genre.

In this task, I was asked to provide my initial ideas for my music video and ancillary tasks. I thought about including conventions that linked with the song genre such as domestic abuse and violence and type of target audience that would listen to that kind of music, as the conventions would be slightly more mature. Linking the song's lyrics to the music video and establishing common themes will help to set up a clear narrative for our music video. Moving forward I now have a base idea of how I want to set out the music video, ideas of the storylines that I could include and the way I could lay things out on my digipack in order for it to be most appealing to a consumer.
